Responsibilities
- Design and validate high-voltage power distribution systems for renewable energy integration
- Develop embedded firmware for IoT-enabled smart grid monitoring devices
- Lead PCB layout and EMI/EMC compliance testing for industrial control systems
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and prototyping phases
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management solutions for power electronics
- Generate technical documentation and compliance reports for UL/IEC standards
- Analyze system performance using MATLAB/Simulink and SPICE simulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in power electronics and three-phase AC/DC conversion systems
- Proficiency with Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro for PCB design
- Strong understanding of IEEE 1547 and NFPA 70E standards
- Hands-on experience with FPGA programming (VHDL/Verilog)
- Proven track record of bringing products from concept to production
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Experience with LabVIEW for automated test system development
