Responsibilities
- Design and implement electrical systems for smart grid infrastructure and renewable energy projects
- Lead R&D initiatives for power electronics and energy storage solutions
- Perform comprehensive circuit analysis, simulations, and prototype testing
- Collaborate with mechanical and software engineering teams on integrated system designs
- Ensure compliance with IEEE, NEC, and IEC standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
- Present technical solutions to stakeholders and executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power systems or renewable energy engineering
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice, and AutoCAD Electrical
- Strong understanding of three-phase systems, transformers, and power distribution
- Experience with embedded systems and firmware development
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Demonstrated project management of complex technical initiatives
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
