Responsibilities
- Design and validate high-voltage power distribution systems for aerospace applications
- Develop PCB layouts using Altium Designer and perform signal integrity analysis
- Lead failure mode analysis (FMEA) for electrical subsystems
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
- Support prototype builds and qualification testing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace or high-reliability electronics
- Expertise in Altium Designer and Cadence EDA tools
- Strong knowledge of MIL-STD-461 and DO-160 certification requirements
- Experience with embedded systems (C/C++) and real-time operating systems
- Proven project leadership in regulated industries
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
