Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-reliability electrical systems for aerospace applications
- Lead PCB layout, schematic capture, and validation testing for avionics components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical subsystems
- Perform power system analysis, EMI/EMC compliance testing, and thermal management
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in design processes
- Document technical specifications and ensure FAA/EASA compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in aerospace or high-reliability electrical systems
- Expertise in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, and MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong knowledge of DO-254, DO-160, and IPC-2221 standards
- Experience with high-speed digital design and power electronics
- Proven leadership in complex hardware development projects
- Active FAA Part 145 certification or willingness to obtain
