Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrical systems for high-voltage power distribution networks
- Lead PCB layout and schematic development for IoT-enabled smart meters
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations for complex circuit issues
- Develop compliance documentation for UL and IEC standards
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and technical guidance
- Collaborate with software teams on embedded firmware integration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics or smart grid systems
- Proficiency in Altium Designer and MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong knowledge of IEEE 1547 and NEC standards
- Proven track record with high-voltage (>10kV) system design
- Experience leading hardware development from prototype to production
