Responsibilities
- Lead Design & Development: Spearhead the architecture, design, and simulation of complex electrical circuits and power distribution systems using industry-standard software (e.g., MATLAB, PSpice).
- System Analysis: Conduct rigorous analysis and testing to ensure compliance with IEEE standards and safety regulations.
- Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget, coordinating with mechanical and software engineers.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, schematics, and specifications for internal review and regulatory submission.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Prototyping: Oversee the fabrication and testing of prototypes to validate design assumptions and optimize performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in electrical system design, preferably within the renewable energy or semiconductor industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, Eagle, or Altium Designer; strong knowledge of PLCs and embedded systems.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of NEC (National Electrical Code) and IEEE standards.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills with a track record of resolving complex engineering challenges.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
