Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components using AutoCAD and ETAP.
- Conduct load flow analysis, short-circuit studies, and harmonics analysis to ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software) to integrate electrical systems into larger projects.
- Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC, IEEE).
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and review their designs for accuracy and safety.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including specifications, schematics, and bill of materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in power systems design or industrial automation.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, and PSS/E.
- Strong understanding of power distribution, motor control centers, and renewable energy integration.
- P.E. License is a strong plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
