Responsibilities
- Design and optimize power electronics systems for UAV applications (inverters, converters, battery management)
- Develop comprehensive electrical schematics using AutoCAD and Altium Designer
- Lead EMC/EMI testing and compliance certification processes
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and design critiques
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on integrated system architectures
- Implement DFMEA methodologies for reliability analysis
- Document technical specifications and create user documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Expertise in power electronics design (buck/boost converters, motor drives)
- Proficiency with PCB design tools (Altium, Cadence Allegro)
- Strong understanding of aerospace DO-254/DO-160 standards
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and simulation
- Certification in PCB layout best practices (IPC-2221)
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills in high-reliability environments
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
