Responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-voltage power systems for aerospace applications
- Lead PCB layout and validation for embedded control modules
- Develop firmware interfaces for real-time power monitoring systems
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and design critiques
- Ensure compliance with FAA and ISO 26262 safety standards
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on integrated system architectures
- Research emerging power electronics technologies for patent applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics or aerospace systems
- Expertise in Altium Designer and MATLAB/Simulink
- Certification in functional safety (ISO 26262) required
- Strong background in EMC/EMI testing and mitigation
- Experience with high-temperature component selection
- Proven project leadership in regulated industries
- Prior work with hybrid-electric propulsion systems preferred
