Responsibilities
- Design and validate power electronics circuits for aerospace applications
- Lead PCB layout and thermal management systems for high-density power modules
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations for production issues
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on integrated system designs
- Ensure compliance with FAA and aerospace industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design
- Expertise in Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro
- Strong knowledge of EMI/EMC compliance testing
- Familiarity with aerospace DO-254 guidelines
- Experience with motor control algorithms and simulation tools
- Proven ability to lead hardware development from concept to production
