Responsibilities
- Lead Design & Development: Architect and develop high-voltage power distribution systems and control circuits from concept through to mass production.
- Technical Leadership: Guide the engineering team in troubleshooting complex issues, conducting root-cause analysis, and implementing technical improvements.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all designs strictly adhere to IEEE, NEC, and international safety regulations and quality standards.
- Simulation & Modeling: Utilize MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice, and CAD tools to simulate system performance and validate designs before implementation.
- Project Management: Oversee project timelines, manage budgets, and coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and professional development opportunities for junior engineers and interns.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in power electronics, circuit design, or embedded systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using design tools such as Altium Designer, AutoCAD, and simulation software like MATLAB or LTspice.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and team members.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a track record of resolving critical engineering challenges.
