Responsibilities
- Lead the design, simulation, and validation of complex electrical systems including power electronics, motor drives, and energy storage solutions
- Develop comprehensive schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs for high-voltage applications
- Perform thermal analysis, electromagnetic interference (EMI) testing, and compliance with UL/IEC standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews to ensure design excellence
- Collaborate with firmware teams to integrate hardware-software interfaces for IoT-enabled devices
- Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and cost optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design for renewable energy systems
- Proficiency in CAD tools (Altium Designer, Eagle) and simulation software (ANSYS, Simulink)
- Strong knowledge of IEEE standards and safety regulations for electrical systems
- Experience with embedded systems and microcontroller programming (C/C++)
- Proven track record of leading projects from concept to production
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
