Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end electrical design and validation of embedded systems, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and prototype testing
- Develop and optimize power electronics circuits for battery-operated devices, achieving >95% efficiency targets
- Perform signal integrity analysis and EMI/EMC compliance testing to meet FCC/CE standards
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and best-practice implementation
- Interface with firmware teams to co-design hardware-software interfaces for sensor integration
- Document technical specifications and create comprehensive test reports for regulatory submissions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Expertise in Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro for complex multi-layer PCB design
- Proven experience with power electronics (buck/boost converters, Li-ion battery management)
- Strong analytical skills using SPICE simulation tools (PSIM, LTspice)
- Familiarity with automotive/industrial safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 62368)
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, network analyzers, programmable loads)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with systematic debug methodology
