Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrical systems for commercial and industrial facilities using AutoCAD and ETAP
- Lead power distribution projects including switchgear, transformers, and protection schemes
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for renewable energy integration
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation for compliance
- Collaborate with hardware teams on embedded system integration and IoT applications
- Ensure all designs meet IEEE, NEC, and regional safety standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power systems design or industrial electrical engineering
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in Texas
- Expertise in AutoCAD, ETAP, and MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E and OSHA electrical safety standards
- Proven experience with renewable energy integration (solar/wind)
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
