Responsibilities
- Design and implement power electronics systems for renewable energy applications
- Lead schematic development and PCB layout for high-voltage control systems
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance validation
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of design documentation
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management solutions
- Develop firmware for embedded control systems using C/C++
- Manage project timelines and deliverables using Agile methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics design
- Proficiency with Altium Designer and MATLAB/Simulink
- Certification in IEC 61508 or similar safety standards
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex circuit issues
- Experience leading projects from concept to production
- Knowledge of UL 60950 and industrial safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
