Responsibilities
- Design and validate high-voltage power distribution systems for commercial and industrial applications
- Lead PCB layout and schematic development using Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro
- Perform thermal and electromagnetic interference (EMI) analysis for complex assemblies
- Collaborate with firmware engineers on embedded system integration and control algorithms
- Develop compliance documentation for UL/IEC standards and industry regulations
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and design best practices
- Present technical solutions to executive stakeholders and product development teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred) with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Expertise in power electronics design (converters, inverters, motor drives)
- Proficiency with simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE) and lab equipment (oscilloscopes, network analyzers)
- Strong knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70E safety standards and industry regulations
- Proven track record in transitioning designs from prototype to mass production
- Experience with renewable energy systems integration (solar, wind, battery storage)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to debug complex electrical systems
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
