Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrical systems for renewable energy integration and smart grid deployments
- Lead hardware development of power electronics and control systems from concept to production
- Conduct feasibility studies and performance modeling for high-voltage transmission projects
- Mentor junior engineers and oversee technical documentation compliance
- Collaborate with software teams to develop IoT-enabled monitoring solutions
- Ensure all designs comply with IEEE, NEC, and international safety standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power systems or high-voltage engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MATLAB/Simulink, and circuit simulation tools
- Strong understanding of three-phase systems, transformers, and protective relaying
- Experience leading projects with $500K+ budgets and cross-functional teams
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Knowledge of renewable energy integration and smart grid technologies
