Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced power electronic systems for EV charging infrastructure and grid integration
- Lead hardware validation and reliability testing of PCB assemblies and embedded systems
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in design methodologies
- Analyze electromagnetic interference (EMI) and thermal management challenges in high-power applications
- Collaborate with firmware teams on embedded control system integration
- Ensure compliance with UL 1741, IEC 61851, and industry safety standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design and validation
- Expertise in MATLAB/Simulink, Altium Designer, and SPICE simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor devices (IGBTs, SiC MOSFETs) and thermal management
- Proven track record in bringing complex hardware products to market
- Certification in PCB design best practices (IPC-2221/IPC-2222)
- Experience with ISO 26262 functional safety standards
