Responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-efficiency power distribution systems for utility-scale solar farms
- Lead schematic development and PCB layout for IoT-enabled smart grid monitoring devices
- Conduct FMEA analysis and validation testing for electrical safety compliance (UL 1741)
- Mentor junior engineers while implementing industry best practices in EMC/EMI design
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate power electronics with AI-driven control systems
- Develop patent-pending solutions for grid stabilization and energy storage optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of power systems experience
- Expertise in PSpice/Simulink simulation and MATLAB/Simulink modeling
- Proficiency in Altium Designer and AutoCAD Electrical for schematic capture
- Strong understanding of IEEE 1547 and NEC Article 705 standards
- Demonstrated success in designing power electronics (inverters, converters, BMS)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Experience with renewable energy integration and microgrid architecture
