Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex analog and digital circuits for high-performance embedded systems.
- Conduct comprehensive PCB layout design, schematic capture, and component selection, ensuring manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Perform in-depth electrical analysis, simulations (SPICE, etc.), and worst-case analyses to validate designs.
- Develop and execute rigorous test plans and procedures for electrical systems, identifying and resolving design issues.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and firmware teams to ensure seamless system integration and functionality.
- Oversee EMC/EMI compliance testing and design for regulatory certifications (CE, FCC, UL).
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical reviews, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in electrical hardware design, preferably in embedded systems, consumer electronics, or industrial automation.
- Strong proficiency with EDA tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, PADS) for schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Demonstrated expertise in power electronics, analog circuit design, digital signal processing, and microcontroller interfacing.
- Solid understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC/EMI principles.
- Experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues and lead root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a collaborative R&D setting.
