Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrical systems for solar microgrids and energy storage solutions
- Lead PCB layout and validation for high-efficiency power conversion modules
- Develop embedded firmware for smart grid monitoring and control systems
- Perform thermal and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) analysis using ANSYS and COMSOL
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of design documentation
- Collaborate with product teams to translate customer requirements into engineering specifications
- Ensure compliance with UL 1741, IEEE 1547, and NEC standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Expertise in power electronics design (buck/boost converters, inverters)
- Proficiency in Altium Designer, AutoCAD Electrical, and MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong background in PCB fabrication, high-voltage systems, and EMI/EMC mitigation
- Certification in PMP or PE license preferred
- Experience with renewable energy systems and grid-tied inverters
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects from concept to production
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety protocols
