Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex electronic circuits and systems.
- Design and develop PCB layouts, schematics, and BOMs using industry-standard tools like Altium Designer or Cadence.
- Conduct thorough testing, validation, and debugging of prototypes to ensure reliability and performance.
- Collaborate closely with firmware engineers and software developers to integrate hardware with embedded software.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews to ensure code and design quality.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company specifications.
- Document all designs, test procedures, and technical specifications accurately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in hardware design and PCB development.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout software (Altium, KiCad, Cadence OrCAD/Allegro).
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles.
- Experience with microcontrollers (ARM, PIC, Arduino) and embedded systems.
- Familiarity with signal integrity analysis and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
