Responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-voltage distribution systems for renewable energy integration
- Lead PCB layout and validation for smart metering and grid automation hardware
- Develop embedded control systems using C/C++ for real-time power monitoring
- Conduct failure analysis and reliability testing for critical power electronics
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management for high-density power systems
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and technical documentation
- Interface with utility clients on grid compliance and performance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in power electronics design (buck/boost converters, inverters)
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for power system modeling and simulation
- Strong knowledge of IEEE 1547 and UL 1741 standards
- Experience with Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro for PCB design
- Hands-on debugging skills using oscilloscopes and network analyzers
- Project management certification (PMP or Agile/Scrum preferred)
- Demonstrated success in delivering hardware from concept to production
