Responsibilities
- Lead design and validation of high-voltage power distribution systems for renewable energy integration
- Develop PCB layouts and schematics using Altium Designer for 3-phase inverters
- Conduct thermal and electromagnetic interference (EMI) simulations using ANSYS and COMSOL
- Collaborate with firmware engineers to optimize embedded control systems
- Prepare technical documentation and patent disclosures for novel circuit topologies
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Ensure compliance with UL 1741 and IEEE 1547 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of power electronics experience
- Expertise in SiC/GaN semiconductor device characterization and application
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for control system modeling and simulation
- Demonstrated success in bringing high-reliability hardware products to market
- Strong knowledge of three-phase PWM modulation techniques and space vector control
- Experience with ISO 26262 functional safety requirements
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
