Responsibilities
- Design and validate PCB schematics for high-efficiency power electronics
- Lead embedded firmware development for IoT sensor systems
- Conduct electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance
- Optimize thermal management solutions for industrial applications
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and technical training
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product lifecycle management
- Research emerging semiconductor technologies for roadmap integration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics design
- Proficiency in Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro
- Strong knowledge of IEEE 1584 arc flash standards
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling
- Certified Power Electronics Professional (PEP) designation
- Proven track record in UL 60950 compliance documentation
- Strong analytical skills for failure mode analysis
