Responsibilities
- Design and validate electrical schematics for photovoltaic inverters and energy storage systems
- Perform power system analysis using ETAP/PSS®E software to ensure grid compliance
- Lead PCB layout optimization for high-efficiency power electronics
- Develop thermal management strategies for industrial-scale battery systems
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Interface with utility companies for interconnection studies and permitting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power systems or renewable energy
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, MATLAB/Simulink, and SPICE simulation tools
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Expertise in IEEE 1547 and NEC Article 705 standards
- Strong analytical skills for fault current and load flow studies
- Experience with battery management systems (BMS) integration
