Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test high-voltage power electronics for energy storage systems
- Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer and AutoCAD
- Lead failure analysis and root cause investigations for electrical components
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Ensure compliance with UL 1973, IEC 62133, and other industry standards
- Optimize system efficiency through component selection and circuit topology improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design and PCB layout
- Expertise in SPICE simulation and MATLAB/Simulink modeling
- Strong knowledge of battery management systems and BMS architectures
- Proven track record with high-voltage DC systems (600V+)
- Experience leading cross-functional technical projects
- Proficiency in EMC/EMI testing and mitigation strategies
- Active PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months
