Responsibilities
- Design and document complex electrical systems and components including power distribution units and control panels.
- Conduct feasibility studies and performance analysis for new product designs and system upgrades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration and compliance with safety standards.
- Oversee prototype testing, verification, and validation processes to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and review design documentation for quality assurance.
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate electrical components for cost-effectiveness and performance.
- Ensure all designs adhere to NEC, IEEE, and other relevant regulatory building codes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE/MSEE).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in electrical system design or power systems engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical, Altium Designer, or SolidWorks Electrical.
- Deep understanding of circuit design, signal processing, and power electronics.
- Proven track record of taking complex projects from initial concept to successful deployment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a high degree of analytical aptitude.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred but not required.
