Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design of high-voltage power distribution systems and embedded electronics.
- Develop and review detailed PCB schematics and layouts using industry-standard tools like Altium Designer and Cadence.
- Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and reliability analysis of electrical components and assemblies.
- Collaborate closely with firmware and software engineers to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including BOMs, schematics, and test reports.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and participate in architectural decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electrical system design and PCB development.
- Proven expertise in power electronics, signal integrity, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
- Proficiency in EDA tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or PSpice.
- Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards (IEC, UL, IEEE) and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional agile environment.
