Responsibilities
- Lead the design and validation of high-voltage power distribution systems for utility-scale projects
- Develop PCB layouts and schematics using Altium Designer for control circuitry
- Perform thermal and electromagnetic simulations using COMSOL and ANSYS Maxwell
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews for compliance with IEEE/IEC standards
- Collaborate with firmware teams to integrate control algorithms with hardware
- Document technical specifications and prepare patent disclosures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics or high-voltage systems
- Expertise in PCB design with emphasis on EMI/EMC compliance
- Proficiency in simulation tools (SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink)
- Experience with renewable energy systems or grid-tied inverters
- Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on prototyping experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility
