Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of high-voltage electrical systems for renewable energy projects
- Perform power system analysis, load calculations, and protection coordination studies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical components into larger systems
- Develop detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and technical documentation
- Conduct site assessments and provide engineering recommendations for installation challenges
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews for quality assurance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power systems design or renewable energy projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, and MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong understanding of NEC standards and IEEE regulations
- Experience with three-phase systems, transformers, and protective relaying
- Proven track record of delivering complex electrical systems on schedule
- Professional Engineering (PE) license required
