Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems for aerospace applications including PCB schematics, wiring harnesses, and power distribution
- Conduct simulations and testing for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and signal integrity
- Lead firmware development for embedded control systems using C/C++ and RTOS
- Perform root cause analysis of electrical failures and implement corrective actions
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Collaborate with mechanical teams for integrated system design
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace or high-reliability electrical design
- Proficiency in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar EDA tools
- Expertise in embedded systems, motor control, and power electronics
- Strong knowledge of DO-160G standards and FAA certification processes
- Experience with Python for automation and data analysis
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
