Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end electrical system design from concept to implementation for renewable energy projects
- Develop and optimize power electronics circuits including inverters, converters, and battery management systems
- Perform rigorous simulation, testing, and validation of electrical systems using MATLAB/Simulink and SPICE
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical, software, and control systems
- Ensure compliance with UL, IEEE, and international electrical safety standards
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in design methodologies
- Research emerging technologies in power systems and propose innovative solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics and renewable energy systems
- Expert proficiency in Altium Designer, Cadence, or equivalent EDA tools
- Deep understanding of three-phase systems, grid-tie inverters, and energy storage
- Proven track record of bringing complex electrical systems from prototype to production
- Strong analytical skills with experience in thermal management and EMI/EMC
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Excellent project management skills with Agile/Scrum experience
