Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrical systems for solar/wind energy infrastructure
- Perform power distribution analysis using ETAP/PSS®E software
- Lead compliance testing for UL 1741 and IEEE 1547 standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
- Develop cost-effective BOMs and procurement strategies
- Collaborate with hardware teams on PCB layout validation
- Present technical findings to stakeholders and clients
Qualifications
- BSEE with 5+ years in power systems engineering
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and AutoCAD Electrical
- Certification in PE (Professional Engineer) required
- Experience with renewable energy integration projects
- Strong knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E standards
- Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple project timelines
