Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and validation of high-voltage power electronics for solar inverters
- Develop and optimize PCB layouts using Altium Designer for mass production
- Conduct rigorous EMC/EMI testing and compliance analysis per IEC 61000 standards
- Mentor junior engineers while establishing best practices for electrical safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware with IoT control systems
- Research emerging semiconductor technologies to enhance product efficiency
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders and industry conferences
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics design
- Expert proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in California
- Deep knowledge of UL 1741 and NEC Article 705 standards
- Proven track record with high-frequency transformer design
- Experience leading FDA-compliant medical device projects
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex circuit failures
