Responsibilities
- System Design & Architecture: Lead the end-to-end design of electrical power distribution systems, including low, medium, and high-voltage setups using industry-standard software.
- Feasibility & Simulation: Conduct rigorous load flow analysis, short-circuit studies, and transient stability simulations to ensure system reliability.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs strictly adhere to NEC (National Electrical Code), IEEE standards, and local building codes.
- Project Leadership: Mentor junior engineers, conduct technical reviews, and oversee project milestones from concept through commissioning.
- Collaboration: Partner with R&D, procurement, and operations teams to integrate electrical solutions into broader engineering projects.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in electrical power systems engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, MATLAB, or PSCAD.
- Certifications: Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical thinking, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
