Responsibilities
- Design and document comprehensive electrical schematics and PCB layouts for industrial control systems.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of prototypes to ensure compliance with NEC and IEC standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate power electronics into high-density hardware designs.
- Perform detailed power budget analysis and thermal management studies for complex circuit boards.
- Lead root-cause analysis efforts for electrical system failures to drive continuous product improvement.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical design reviews to maintain engineering excellence.
- Select and qualify electrical components for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in circuit design, power electronics, or embedded systems.
- Advanced proficiency with EDA tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or OrCAD.
- In-depth knowledge of analog and digital signal processing, signal integrity, and EMI/EMC mitigation.
- Strong familiarity with safety standards including UL, CE, and RoHS compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot high-speed digital and high-current analog systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
