Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems for aerospace platforms including power distribution, avionics, and flight control systems
- Create detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and documentation using AutoCAD and Altium Designer
- Lead prototype testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical and software components
- Research and implement emerging technologies in power electronics and embedded systems
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure compliance with FAA and industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace or high-reliability electrical systems
- Expertise in PCB design, power electronics, and embedded C programming
- Proficiency with simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE)
- Strong knowledge of DO-160 and IPC standards
- Certification in PMP or Six Sigma (highly desirable)
- Demonstrated experience leading technical projects from concept to deployment
