Responsibilities
- Design and develop schematic diagrams, PCB layouts, and electrical assemblies for aerospace-grade systems
- Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and troubleshooting of power distribution, signal integrity, and embedded control systems
- Lead component selection and vendor management for high-reliability aerospace components
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation including test reports, DFM analysis, and compliance certifications
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability electronics
- Expertise in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar ECAD tools
- Strong knowledge of DO-254, IPC-2221, and MIL-STD-810 standards
- Proven experience with power electronics (switch-mode regulators, motor drives) and signal integrity analysis
- Familiarity with embedded systems (C/C++, ARM, FPGA) and real-time operating systems
- Experience with EMC/EMI testing and mitigation strategies
