Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-voltage power distribution systems for renewable energy projects
- Lead PCB layout and schematic capture for complex control systems
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and mitigation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration and validation
- Develop technical documentation including schematics, BOMs, and test procedures
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Ensure compliance with IEEE, NEC, and industry safety standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics or energy systems design
- Proficiency in CAD tools (Altium Designer, OrCAD) and simulation software (PSIM, MATLAB/Simulink)
- Strong expertise in three-phase power systems and transformer design
- Experience with renewable energy integration (solar/wind) and grid-tied inverters
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Demonstrated project leadership with successful system deployments
