Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrical power systems for commercial and industrial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing advanced control systems and automation solutions
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for complex electrical projects
- Ensure compliance with IEEE, NEC, and international safety standards
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for high-stakes initiatives
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of design documentation
- Research and implement emerging technologies in renewable energy integration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power systems design and project management
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Expertise in AutoCAD, ETAP, and MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong background in three-phase systems, protective relaying, and SCADA
- Proven track record in renewable energy integration projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
