Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrical systems for renewable energy integration and smart grid infrastructure
- Lead hardware development of embedded control systems using FPGAs and microcontrollers
- Perform power electronics modeling and simulation using MATLAB/Simulink and SPICE
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management and EMI/EMC compliance
- Develop PCB layouts and oversee prototype testing/validation cycles
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews for quality assurance
- Stay current with IEEE standards and emerging power conversion technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics or embedded systems design
- Expertise in Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro for PCB layout
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in simulation tools
- Proven track record of bringing products from concept to production
- Experience with renewable energy systems or grid-scale projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and cross-functional communication skills
