Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, and optimize complex electrical power systems, including generation, transmission, and distribution.
  • Conduct load flow studies, short circuit analysis, and reliability assessments using industry-standard software (e.g., ETAP, AutoCAD Electrical).
  • Ensure all engineering designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as IEEE and NEC standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, project managers) to integrate electrical systems into broader project scopes.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, schematics, and BOMs for manufacturing and construction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in power systems engineering.

  • Strong working knowledge of IEEE standards (IEEE 1584, IEEE 3002.7) and NEC codes.
