Responsibilities
- Lead the design, prototyping, and validation of high-voltage power distribution systems
- Develop embedded control systems for smart grid applications using C/C++ and RTOS
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance analysis
- Optimize PCB layouts for high-frequency power electronics using Altium Designer
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into larger platforms
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical design reviews
- Research emerging power semiconductor technologies (SiC/GaN) for next-gen applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of experience
- Expertise in power electronics, motor drives, and energy conversion systems
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and simulation
- Strong knowledge of IEEE standards (e.g., 1547, 519) and NEC regulations
- Experience with high-speed digital design and signal integrity analysis
- Demonstrated project management skills for complex technical initiatives
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Experience with renewable energy systems (solar/wind) highly desirable
