Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design of embedded systems for IoT devices and smart grid applications
- Develop and optimize PCB layouts using Altium Designer with strict EMI/EMC compliance
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of power electronics systems (up to 3kV)
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and technical documentation
- Collaborate with software teams on firmware-hardware integration
- Research emerging technologies (e.g., GaN semiconductors) for next-gen solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics and embedded systems
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and SPICE simulation tools
- Certification in IPC-2221 (PCB Design Standards) or equivalent
- Demonstrated project management with PMP or similar methodology
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex circuit failures
- Experience with ISO 9001 and IEC 62368 compliance processes
