Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test complex electrical systems and power distribution networks.
- Lead technical reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineering staff.
- Oversee project lifecycles from conceptual design through to field implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical hardware with software and mechanical systems.
- Ensure all designs meet rigorous NEC, IEEE, and safety standards.
- Analyze system performance data to optimize efficiency and minimize energy loss.
- Manage project documentation, technical specifications, and budgetary requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE); Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in industrial or utility-scale electrical design.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
- Deep proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, or SKM Power Systems software.
- Strong knowledge of local and national electrical codes and regulations.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex circuitry and power quality issues.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead client-facing technical discussions.
