Responsibilities
- Design and validate high-voltage power systems for solar/wind energy conversion
- Lead PCB layout and schematic development using Altium Designer
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance analysis
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and technical documentation
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management solutions
- Develop firmware interfaces for smart grid communication protocols
- Conduct failure mode analysis (FMEA) for critical subsystems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics design
- Expertise in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proficiency in ISO 26262 functional safety standards
- Experience with LabVIEW and automated test systems
- Strong knowledge of IEC 61850 grid communication protocols
- Demonstrated project leadership in renewable energy projects
