Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test complex electrical systems for aerospace applications
- Lead PCB layout, schematic capture, and signal integrity analysis using Altium Designer
- Conduct power electronics optimization and EMI/EMC compliance testing
- Mentor junior engineers and cross-functional teams on best practices
- Interface with clients to define technical requirements and deliverables
- Implement DO-160 environmental standards and FAA certification protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in aerospace or high-reliability electronics
- Expertise in high-speed digital design, RF systems, and power management
- Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and SPICE simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of IPC-2221/2222 standards and MIL-SPEC requirements
- Proven track record in leading hardware development from concept to production
- Active FAA Part 65 certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
