Responsibilities
- Design and optimize power electronics systems for EV charging infrastructure and grid integration
- Develop schematic diagrams, PCB layouts, and validation protocols using Altium Designer and Cadence
- Lead thermal management solutions for high-power electrical components
- Collaborate with firmware engineers to implement embedded control algorithms
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations for electrical systems
- Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in electrical safety standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years experience in power electronics design (≥100kW systems)
- Expertise in high-voltage systems (≥1kV) and battery management systems
- Proficiency in simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS)
- Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 and UL 1741 standards
- Experience with automotive or renewable energy applications
