Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex electrical systems, including power distribution, control circuits, and embedded systems.
- Conduct thorough system analysis and simulation using industry-standard tools like MATLAB/Simulink and PSpice.
- Lead the creation of detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the testing, validation, and troubleshooting of prototypes to ensure compliance with IEEE and ANSI standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices in circuit design and signal integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, mechanical, product management) to drive product innovation.
- Ensure all engineering projects adhere to safety regulations, budget constraints, and project timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Master’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in electrical design, preferably in the renewable energy or IoT hardware sector.
- Proven expertise in circuit design, power electronics, and microcontroller programming (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar).
- Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, Altium Designer, or Eagle) and simulation software.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
